Alyssa's Next Goal: “I will reach more people with my blog.”
Meet Alyssa
Alyssa was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 2003. In 2010 she underwent surgery for a permanent ileostomy and this was her start to a long journey of many surgeries. Alyssa has dealt with many chronic health issues and they often restrict her physical activity, but that doesn’t stop her from living life.
Alyssa works in social media for Stealth Belt and has a passion for helping fellow patients. She loves talking to people with ostomies because her experience as a patient helps her empathize with others going through similar things. Her hope is that she can help more people get connected with us so they have a new option for restoring their confidence.
